how much was the procedure? if u dont mind me asking
It came to a total of AU$13000 or so. Includes surgeon’s fee of $7700, Anesthetist, Hospital, and drugs. It was cosmetic so I won’t be claiming a lot back on Medicare or private health insurance but I’m hoping to get back maybe $1500 *hopes*
My nose is still very swollen. The initial swelling (from broken bones etc) has gone down, but there remains liquid retention etc which will resolve over the next 3 or 4 months. At around 6 months, I’ll (still have around 10% swelling but) actually pretty much be able to see the new permanent shape of my nose - something that I’m hoping will look a bit less like Marsha’s when she got smacked in the face with a football like it is right now… and more like Megan Fox’s.
Ghrelin, a peptide secreted by the stomach, stimulates appetite and increases before meals. Leptin, which affects body weight and is secreted primarily by fat cells, signals the hypothalamus regarding the degree of fat storage in the body; decreased leptin tells the body there is a calorie shortage and promotes hunger, while increased levels promote energy expenditure.
When we fill our system with the wrong foods - things we love and crave like refined sugars - it inflames our body and assaults our immune system, affecting our hormones and leaving us vulnerable to common and disabling illnesses such as depression.
